Well here I am back again after a break. My son and his lovely partner married on Long Island, in the Whitsundays and we were fortunate enough to have fabulous weather for the beautiful beach wedding. I loved everything about it, it was a small wedding and filled with so much love it was wonderful. Our arrival home was delayed by a day when our flight could not land on Hamilton Island so we had to have another night away before we could come home. For a family getaway I dont think you could go past Long Island Resort. It is small enough to be private, its informal and there is heaps for the kids to do and meals can be included in your tariff. Sally-Anne's Dress was a beautiful ivory sleeveless creation that had the most delicate beadwork. Her flowers were Calla Lilies, as were the button holes for all the men and the corsages for the all the ladies. It was lovely to see the joining of two families with both David's sons and Sally-Anne's son and grandsons all taking part in the ceremony. Bye for now
