Super Cute Post It Note Holder
Today I looked at The Three Sisters site and under the members freebies I found the template for this adorable post it not holder. I decided to use the flowers from the Punch Bunch Level 1 Hostess set and stamp in versamark all over the cardstock. The rest of the post it note holder is made from bits out of my 'another day' box. I had a scrap of Soft Suede that had been put through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder that I attached and cut around to shape. I also had a scrap of Very Vanilla that had been cut using the Tasteful Trim Die and I layered that across the Soft Suede. At long last I found a home for the scrap of So Safron Striped ribbon that had been living in my another day box for so long still with the buckle attached from my Hodge Podge kit. The owl I stamped is from the sal-a-bration set and I put him on dimensionals after punching him out using the XL Owl Punch, and gave him two mischevious rhinestones in his eyes. I punched a wide oval from So Safron and attached that to the front of the flap. to hold the lid closed I placed a velcro dot. I really love how this holder turned out, and would love to know what you think! Bye for now

Punch Bunch from Sale-a-bration!
Hi everyone, today I thought I would move away just a little from the Swee Summer set, but still staying with Sale-a-bration. How lucky are we that we can earn free top quality stamps, just for spending as little as $100. How many other places can you purchase goods you were going to get anyway and get such a fabulous bonus. They are very special because they are not for sale - ever. Wow! I feel so lucky to have been able to earn my stamp sets. Over the last couple of days I have shown you the Sweet Summer ser, today I am using the owl from the Punch Bunch set as well as the cute in flight butterfly from the Sale-a-bration set So Happy For you. Using Crumb Cake ink I stamped the butterfly randomly over the Very Vanilla base card. I decided then to use the Scallop Border Trim Punch and punch both edges on the Crum Cake and the Pacific Point Cardstock. They were then layered with a piece of Blueberry Crisp Designer Paper. I love this paper, it has really taken a hold on me and I am tempted to use it all the time! Three owls were stamped on Very Vanilla in Melon Mambo, and two in Pacific Point, then punched out using the XL 2 Step Owl punch, I attached these to the card front using Dimensionals. The colours are lovely, and I think the owls look super cute sitting on the Blueberry Crisp, dont you? Well thats if for today, come back tomorrow and see what I have to share for you then. Bye for now.

On a lighter note...
Today the weather finally decided that I woudl be able to hold my Black Magic Class. The ladies had a lovely time and finished with some beautiful creations. It amazes me constantly how a group of ladies can all be doing the same techinique, using the same tools etc etc and finish with something so totally different. Unfortunately I did not get to take any pics of their creations today, but I did manage to get a couple of them all working so hard! They all certainly enjoyed their cup of coffee when we were done! A special thanks to Kris who came up from Narangba to share in the class with the local ladies. It was so lovely to have her come and do a class with us. Bye for now....
