Here I am back again! It has been a busy few weeks with classes and workshops, not that I am complaining because I love what I do so much, and love to see the look on the faces of the ladies when they have created something that is so beautiful when at the beginning of the class they have invariably said 'I wont be any good at this, I dont have a creative bone in my body!' We had so much fun when the ladies did a punch art class where they made 24 cards using only one set of stamps (Teeny Tiny Sentiments) but heaps of punched shapes. The day was so much fun, there was lots of laughter and a lot of very proud ladies at the end of the day happily showing off their creations! For this class I purchased a tutorial from Jackie Topa and used a lot of her ideas, and some of my own to come up with the end result. One of the funniest moments of the day was when one of the ladies ended up with a decidely 'drunken' wine glass!
This is typical of the classes that we have together, the ladies have built friendships and there is such a comradie amongst them it is lovely to see. Everyone shares, helps the other and there are lots of anecdotes throughout the day that usually keep us all highly amused. We usually break half way through to share a cuppa and a snack, and this is where the ladies will bring out their own projects that they have completed since they last saw each other. I just love what I do! I love to see the happiness that this craft brings to each and every lady that comes to my classes, and for that I thank you all!
The detail in these cards was quite amazing. I am sure all the ladies love them. What a great class.
